- Current direction: Fixed per level, but speed increases each level. Level 1 logs are nearly still; Level 5 logs move so fast you'll be swept away before you can jump off.

- Prioritize "same direction" drift: If current flows right, favor right-drifting logs. The current helps you forward instead of fighting you.
- Mark "safe islands": Lily pads are stationary (don't drift). They're the safest landing spots. Find them and use them as "transit stations."
